1937 Pittsburgh Pirates Team Signed University of Pittsburgh Yearbook. The legendary Hall of Fame talent just keeps coming on this tough Pirates team sheet that has served time for almost seven decades at the back of a Pitt yearbook belonging to one the school's graduates. While his fellow alums were getting their professors and frat brothers to sign their annuals, one smart student headed straight for Forbes Field, where he acquired twenty-one 10/10 ink signatures from the National League powerhouse. Most notable are Honus Wagner, both Waner brothers, Arky Vaughan and Pie Traynor, who alone account for close to $2,000 in value as single autographs on paper. Put them together with the rest of their team, and the appeal widens further. The book itself shows expected edge and spine wear, but remains solid and complete. The team page has some scattered foxing at far right, away from the signatures, that does little to detract. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
