1937 Joe Medwick MVP Testimonial Dinner Program Signed by 8. In honor of the Hall of Famer's only NL MVP award which he won in 1937, a testimonial dinner was held in December of that year. Many distinguished guest attended, as evidenced by the names present in the offered program from the event. Sweetening the deal, eight pencil signatures can be found here, including Medwick, mayor Bernard F. Dickman, Frank Frisch, Cards majority owner Sam Breadon, Ford Frick and more.
