    Description

1936 Johnny Evers & Joe Tinker Signed Page. The middle infield of the most celebrated double play combination in the game's history, this pair of Chicago Cubs Hall of Famers proved they held no hard feelings toward the enemy camp with this kind note to a youngster. The former writes, "To our little Pittsburg (sic) baseball fan Jimmy Kehr, Sincerely Yours John J. 'Johnny' Evers." He also adds the date of Sept. 1, 1936." The latter simply signs in "Joe B. Tinker" format. All ink rates an impressive 9/10 in strength on a 3x6" sheet of blank paper which has been mounted on a slighly larger card backing. A tough and desirable autograph duo. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication. Guide Value or Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
