    Description

1932 Waterman's Autograph Album Signed by Babe Ruth, FDR & More. We've always loved these little Waterman's albums, the small hardcover volumes used to inspire children to take up the hobby of autograph collecting. This is the most star-studded volume we've encountered to date, with over seventy autographs from stars of sport, politics and entertainment. The highlights: Babe Ruth, Connie Mack (with secretarial Cochrane, Grove, Simmons and Foxx), Franklin D. Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt, Amelia Earhart, Gene Sarazen, Calvin Coolidge, Ellsworth Vines, Babe Didrikson (secretarial), Johnny Weismuller, James Montgomery Flagg and more. All appear in 9/10 or better ink, clipped from other documents and glued to the pages of the book. A few autographs are traced, others secretarial, but any listed above are fine unless otherwise noted. Tremendous Depression-era history here, so dig in! Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
