    Description

1931 Rogers Hornsby Signed World Series Program. The Hall of Fame slugger had to settle for spectating as his former squad dethroned the reigning World Champion Philadelphia Athletics this October, but one fan obviously recognized him in the stands of Sportsman's Park and approached the ex-Cardinal for an autograph. The result is a perfect 10/10 dark black fountain ink signature, simply the finest you could ever hope to find on any medium. But let us not forget the desirability of the program itself, which is also a marvel of condition, with not a tear or crease to be found. Very mild rubbing at the spine and edges, and a light and even age toning of the front and back covers are all that separates it from its newly printed state. Center score sheets are unmarked. LOA from PSA/DNA.
