    Description

1929 Babe Ruth Signed World Series Program. After two consecutive Octobers as World Series Champion, the Babe was relegated to the role of spectator for the 1929 edition, signing this Wrigley Field program for a fan who spotted him in the stands. The program exhibits a heavy vertical center fold line and general handling wear with some age toning, but Ruth's pencil autograph rates 9+/10 on the center scorecard. The Babe would return in three years' time to club his famed "Called Shot" on these grounds. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
