1926 National Association Silver Jubilee Multi-Signed Book with Landis, Wilbert Robinson. Intriguing hardcover volume is dedicated "To the memory of those patient and courageous fighters for the future of minor league base ball..." with 160 pages of text documenting the National Association's first quarter century. While this surely makes for an interesting read, the greatest appeal comes from the more than fifty flawless black fountain pen signatures inside from those attending the Jubilee celebration. While most of the names will likely only be familiar to those historians already outfitted with a strong background in this minor league, some will be instantly recognizable to us all. A tough and gorgeous signature from Hall of Fame Brooklyn skipper Wilbert Robinson appears within, as well as a fantastic signed image from the stern Kenesaw Mountain Landis. Other noteworthy names include Hall of Famers Rube Marquard and Ray Schalk, 1914 Miracle Braves manager George Stallings, and early Cubs manager Fred Mitchell. Pacific Coast League president Harry P. Williams and various coaches, managers and scouts make up the balance of names. There is some slight loosening of the spine, but the book is otherwise in fine condition and all interior pages remain in stellar condition, as do the signatures they hold. Could an obscure and valuable autograph be among them? LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
