    Description

1924 World Series Program (Washington) Signed by Walter Johnson, More. A vintage black fountain pen fan's notation on the title page of this important program provides the most desirable of possible vintages: "Last game of World series, Washington 4, New York 3." This thrilling Game Seven walk-off clincher served as the pinnacle of the great Walter Johnson's Hall of Fame career, so the appearance of his 9/10 black fountain pen signature on his personal page is pure magic. Also signing are Tom Zachary (who would surrender the Babe's sixtieth homer in 1927), Curley Ogden, Joe Judge, Stanley (Bucky) Harris, Sam Rice and Goose Goslin, proving the original owner of the program had a good eye for Hall of Fame talent. All signatures rate either 8/10 or 9/10, and the program exhibits mild handling and humidity effects, but nothing that affects the signatures or the structural integrity of the program, which rates a technical VG-EX. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
