1924 Babe Ruth Signed Insurance Document. Christy Walsh was far more than simply an agent for the Babe's promotional concerns, taking the reins for a variety of personal matters as well, including various projects intended to assure Ruth and his wife's financial comfort in their golden years. Here we find an indication of this concern, a "Request for Prepayment of Premiums" for a life insurance policy, filled out in an unknown hand but signed at the close with a magnificent "George Herman Ruth" autograph. The single page measures 5.25x8.5" in size and exhibits original storage folds and a staple hole at upper left, neither of which cause any significant distraction.
