    Description

1909 & 1955 Frank "Home Run" Baker Autographs Lot of 2 from the Frank "Home Run" Baker Collection. A pair of autographs spanning almost a half century of this Hall of Famer's life is offered for the discerning collector, direct from the personal collection of the early home run hero himself. The earlier specimen is a handwritten postcard, postmarked "Dec 14, 1909, Phoenix, Ariz." and featuring the brief note, "When you get this we will be close home, Frank." The later autograph appears on the verso of a terrific black and white snapshot of an elderly Baker posing with a bat on his shoulder, most likely at the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame. It is unclear how it ended up in Baker's collection, as it appears to be notated by the fan who got the autograph personally, but regardless, the "Frank Baker" blue ink autograph stayed with the man who penned it. All ink remains in 10/10 condition, and the only noteworthy wear is on the postcard, likely from its travels across the country, and this wear does not affect the writing in the slightest. LOA from PSA/DNA.
