Mid-1930's Minor League Baseball Signed Album with Hack Wilson, Bennie Borgmann. Child's autograph album features something in the neighborhood of 300 signatures from the minor league diamond. Though most names will be unfamiliar to all but the most highly schooled of baseball historians, there is a nice sampling of signatures from Big Leaguers on their way up, or on their way down. Best is arguably the booming 10/10 black ink fountain pen autograph of future Hall of Famer Hack Wilson, on a page with seven other members of the 1935 Albany Senators. Two Ray Schalks and a Rabbit Maranville signature can be found within the pages as well, as can future baseball suicide Willard Hershberger. Even a Basketball Hall of Famer gets in on the action, Original Celtics star Bennie Borgmann. All autographs are signed using just one side of a page (no back to back signatures), and typically reside six to ten per sheet. Quality is consistently 9/10 or better ink, with only a scattered few in equally strong pencil. An intriguing volume that may hold some hidden treasures for the advanced collector. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
