    The Balance of the Hayward Binney Archive including Two Ty Cobb Signed Letters. The last of the archives of Cobb's stockbroker is comprised of the following: 1) 1945 two-page letter handwritten by unknown person but signed by Cobb, who likewise initials a postscript. Letter is on Cobb's letterhead, all ink 10/10. Original mailing folds, otherwise fine. 2) 1958 Christmas card signed "and every success, Ty" by Cobb, who likewise wrote (but didn't sign) the text on the included mailing envelope. All ink 10/10. 3) 1940 Herbert Hoover signed typed letter. Ink 10/10. Personal letterhead shows original mailing folds, paper clip rust staining at upper left. 4) Unsigned mailer announcing plans to erect the "Cobb Memorial Hospital" in Royston, Georgia.
