    Description

1964 Governor John Connally Signed Letter Lot of Two, One with JFK Assassination Content. Of the three men that were shot by assassin Lee Harvey Oswald on November 22, 1963 only Texas Governor Jon Connally survived his injuries. Sitting directly in front of President Kennedy Connally was hit with one of the same bullet that led to fatal injuries to JFK.

The pair of letters are each signed in black steel-tip ink in the years after the harrowing day. The first, dated October 15, 1965 references the assassination and measures 8.5x11" and exhibits mild wear with mailing folds. The second, dated May 18, 1966, has no such compelling content, but still features a strong signature and exhibits mild wear with mailing folds. Each is also accompanied by their original mailing envelopes. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
