    Description

1960 Ty Cobb Twice-Signed Handwritten Note. Quite a few reasons to love this piece from the gritty and great Dead Ball superstar. Noteworthy is the fact that Cobb has signed the page twice, first at the top, dating his autograph "5/12/60," and again at the close of the brief handwritten note. And the content of that note is fantastic: "I consider Walter Johnson greatest ever over 400 games very light hitting and not good fielding clubs back of him for many years." Though we certainly would not suggest it, the piece could very easily be split into two 3x5" pages, as the large dated autograph and the signed note reside completely on opposite sides of the horizontal center fold. The standard green ink is as strong as the day Cobb put it there, and the page itself has no condition problems either. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
