1952-53 William Harridge Signed Typed Letters Lot of 2. William Harridge, baseball's American League president from 1931-58, was involved in the major leagues for almost 50 years, getting his start in 1911 as Ban Johnson's personal secretary and culminating with his post as AL President from 1931-58. Here we offer two typed letters from the HOF executive, each donning the familiar signature that we have become accustomed to seeing on all of our official AL baseballs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Both have been signed in no lower than 9/10 black fountain pen, and each letter has been preserved in marvelous condition, with barely perceptible fold lines from mailing the only minor flaws in condition. LOA from PSA/DNA.
