1951 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. An appropriate sweet spot signature from the great DiMaggio, who closed out his career this year with a final World Championship. The presence of Kuzava dates the ball to later in the season, and the absence of Mickey Mantle suggests the possibility that the ball was signed late in the World Series run, after the Mick was injured in Game Two. As such, this OAL (Harridge) ball may well be one of the last signed by the Yankee Clipper as a Yankee. Light shellac has done its duty in keeping the signature quality strong for the past half century, and other autographs here include Reynolds, Mize, Henrich, Martin, Rizzuto, Stengel, Bauer, Dickey, Houk and Berra. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
