1950's Roderick Wallace Handwritten Signed Note. Despite six decades in the game as a player, manager, umpire and scout, the supply of Wallace autographs in the hobby is slim at best. Here we present a brief note written to a young collector in response to an autograph request. Wallace writes, "Hi Bud, No trouble at all. I am glad to help out. Thank you and Best wishes, Roderick J. Wallace. P.S. There is no letter "h" in Roderick." All ink is a flawless 10/10, and the postscript could be argued to be a second autograph of sorts. The lined page shows original mailing folds and mild wear, but these factors do not negatively affect Wallace's writing. A very tough piece certain to turn the heads of advanced autograph collectors.
