    Description

1949 Casey Stengel Signed Typed Letter. Signed in the midst of the debut season of his epic reign as the Yanks' skipper, this 1949 typed letter appears on the team's official letterhead and was signed by the Old Perfesser himself Casey Stengel in response to an adoring fan of the Bronx Bombers. Expected fold lines are evident with album page remnants found on verso along top edge. Exceptional memento from the first of five straight World Series winners. LOA from PSA/DNA.
