    Description

1949 Branch Rickey Signed Typed Letter. Front office giant Branch Rickey signed at bottom of this letter, on Brooklyn Dodgers letterhead, to team owner Walter O'Malley. The content of the letter is of interest, with Rickey bringing to O'Malley's attention the NLRB ruling that Baseball is not interstate commerce. This ruling had implications which affected baseball's long-held antitrust exemption. Rickey is credited as the individual responsible for developing baseball's minor league system, as well as signing Jackie Robinson and effectively ending the game's color line. JSA Auction LOA.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
