    Description

1942 Billy Evans Signed Typed Letter. With a temperament that simply refused to be shook by the decidedly more rambunctious sect of major leaguers, Billy Evans was widely regarded as the most-fair and the best umpire around. The Hall of Fame inductee, who has been deceased for over fifty years, remains a tough signature since many of the day's autograph collectors were busy clamoring for hand-signed memento from their playing heroes. Thus what we offer here will surely be filed in the category of scarcity -- a typed letter signed by the Cooperstown inductee and dated 1942. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.

I thought that Peter Calderon was very pleasant and had a very professional attitude.
