Description1924 Max Carey Signed Letter.
In July of 1924 a fan of future-Hall of Fame outfielder Max Carey wrote the Pirates star a letter that reads "Dear Mr. Carey: Which do you consider as your best year in the major leagues?"
Carey responded, saying "My guess would be 1922. Very Truly yours," followed by his signature. His answer would be difficult to dispute at the time, as "Scoops" hit .329, leading the league with 51 stolen bases and reaching base at a .408 clip.
The letter shows moderate wear and creasing and has been pasted to various other articles and clippings from the time in order to give it more rigidity. Measures 8x10" Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
