    Description

Late 1970's Thurman Munson Single Signed Baseball. The fearless leader of the Yankee World Championship squads of the disco era, Captain Munson's tragic death as a result of an airplane accident has left just a shallow supply of quality autographs for the legions of collectors desiring one. This is particularly true of single signed baseballs, so we expect strong interest in this fine example, boasting an inscription applied to the side panel of an "Official League" ball. The 9/10 blue ink reads, "To Mike, Best Wishes, Thurman Munson." The ball itself exhibits very minimal toning that does nothing to distract the eye. Certainly a top tier example of this coveted rarity. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
