    Description

Late 1940's Grover Cleveland Alexander Signed Exhibit Card. Old Pete's unceremonious passing in a skid row flophouse in 1950, just two years after this "Baseball's Great Hall of Fame Exhibits" set was issued, suggests that this is among the last of the troubled diamond legend's autographs. His bold blue fountain pen signature presents marvelously against the pale grey background of his photographic portrait, forming a magnificent display piece. Tape stains at corners and a tiny area of paper loss along upper edge are the result of scrapbook removal, but these concerns do nothing to diminish the strong appeal. Card measures 3.25x5.25". LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
