Late 1940's Frank Home Run Baker Signed Postcard, PSA/DNA NM 7. In the deadball era, before Babe Ruth came onto the scene, Frank "Home Run" Baker was the longball king. For four consecutive seasons between 1911-14, Baker led the league in home runs, hitting forty-two total in those four years. No one would have guessed that a few years later, guys like Ruth would be crushing that many dingers in a single season. This late 1940's government postcard was signed "J. Franklin Baker" with a lengthy inscription added, reading: "3rd Baseman N.Y. Yankees & Philadelphia American League B.B.C." Postally used, the card was postmarked from Baker's home town of Trappe, Maryland. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, NM 7.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
