    Description

Late 1940's Babe Ruth, Cy Young, Ty Cobb & Tris Speaker Signed Baseball. What a quartet! One early autograph collector was clearly years ahead of his time, fashioning this OAL (Harridge) ball around a theme of supreme excellence. We have the Home Run King on the sweet spot (4/10), the Hit King to the north (6/10), the Pitching Victories King to the west and the career leader in doubles and outfield assists to the south (7/10). Each legend fittingly earned a position in the 1939 induction class at the Hall of Fame opening, but the unique stamping of this ball first debuted in 1946, two years before Ruth's passing. A true treasure of the early game, as uncompromising in personnel as they come. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
