Late 1930's Baseball Autograph Album with Ruth, DiMaggio. The biggest names in the game register here among the approximately one hundred signers who made this small album a treasure for a young pre-war baseball fan. Most notable, of course, is the Babe himself, who appears in the same 9+/10 pencil that characterizes the vast majority of the autographs (others are in bold ink). Joining Ruth are the likes of Joe and Vince DiMaggio, McCarthy, Yawkey, Vaughan, Traynor, Stengel, Lloyd Waner, Lopez, Durocher, Ruffing, Dickey, Frisch, Hubbard, Berg, Dahlgren, Rolfe and more. Most autographs are signed seven to ten per page, and signatures on opposing sides of the same page are almost never a problem. A heartwarming relic from an age of innocence in the sport of baseball when expensive autograph signings and blue sharpies weren't even a twinkle in a show promoter's eye. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
