Late 1920's Wilbert Robinson Signed Album Page. He was so popular during his eighteen years at the helm of the Brooklyn National League franchise that the team adopted the nickname the Robins in his honor, forming the bridge between the Superbas and the Dodgers. His very rare black ink signature registers at a boldness of 9/10 above Butch Henline and Max Carey, each members of the Robins between 1927 and 1929, allowing us to pinpoint the signings to that period. The verso of the 2.5x4.5" page has a few very light pencil autographs which do not affect the Robinson side in the slightest. Page is lightly soiled, but to no significant distraction. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
