    Description

Joe Oeschger Signed Display. Joe Oeschger elevated himself into the annals of baseball lore on May 1, 1920 when he pitched a 26 inning marathon for the Boston Braves as they took on Leon Cadore. The game ended in a 1-1 tie after it was called due to darkness. Here we offer a pair of rare signatures from the record-setting pitcher -- one on an exhibit card while the other comes on an unlined index card. Inscription on the index card reads: "Joe Oeschger -- 26 innings, May 1-1920 -- Boston v Brooklyn." Display has been matted with a couple vintage trading cards and framed to final dimensions of 12x14" LOA from PSA/DNA.
