Circa 1960 Oscar "Heavy" Johnson Signed Index Card. At six feet tall and 250 pounds, Oscar Johnson came by his "Heavy" nickname honestly. But, much like Babe Ruth, Johnson used his size to generate enormous slugging power, becoming one of the most feared batters in the Negro League. His blue ballpoint ink signature registers at a boldness of 9/10 on the presented unlined 3x5" index card. Paper loss on verso from scrapbook removal does not affect the signature in the slightest. One of the only known exemplars of Johnson's autograph, for the advanced Negro League collector. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
