    Description

Circa 1926 Grover Cleveland Alexander Signed Index Card, PSA/DNA Gem Mint 10. Had he not lost a season and a half to military service during the first World War, Old Pete almost certainly would have joined Cy Young and Walter Johnson as the only men in Major League history to tally four hundred victories. Still the bronze medalist in that event, the troubled hurler is remembered with this simply unimprovable autograph to a fan penned upon the blank side of a 3x5" index card. It reads simply, "To Arthur, Grover C. Alexander" in the boldest of blue fountain pen ink. The card is free of stains, creasing or tearing. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA for protection and unquestioned authenticity.
