1970's Hilton Smith Signed Index Card. With a known record of 161 victories against just twenty-two losses, and a reputation for the most effective curveball in Negro League history, Smith ranks high on that League's list of greatest pitchers ever. Sadly, the Hall of Fame induction he so richly deserved came eighteen years after his passing, with the volume of available autographs being one of the casualties of this lengthy oversight. Here we present one of the most attractive examples we've encountered from the skimpy supply, a lengthy inscription penned in 10/10 blue ink on a blank 3x5" card. It reads, "Hilton Smith pitcher, played in 6 All Star games, 2 Negro World Series, Won 2 games in each." Index card itself is likewise NRMT-MT. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
