    Description

Early 1950's Mickey Mantle Signed Magazine Photograph. The Golden Anniversary patch on the Mick's left sleeve dates this marvelous image to the 1952 season, corresponding perfectly with the 10/10 blue ink signature in the Hall of Fame slugger's rookie style. While Mantle signed photos are admittedly not rare, those dating to his first few seasons in the Majors most certainly are, and you'll be hard-pressed to find a superior example. The image measures just a fraction of an inch short of 8x10" in size, with tape stains at lower right and a small blemish above Mickey's shoulders causing not the slightest bit of concern. Definitely one of the most appealing Mantle signed pieces to surface in recent memory, recalling what is arguably the most glorious period of Yankees World Championship history. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
    Guide Value or Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
