    Description

Early 1950's Autograph Book with Two Rookie Mantles, Len Ford. In truth, there are actually three Mickey Mantle autographs, signed in bold vintage ink in his highly coveted rookie style. Unfortunately, one of those signatures has been traced by the overzealous autograph collector, leaving just two Mantles pristine and unmolested. But the appeal extends far beyond the young kid from Oklahoma, with the next most notable name the Football Hall of Famer Len Ford, whose death in 1972 at age forty-six makes his autograph particularly tough. Among the other autographs found within: Stengel, Mize, Newhouser, Bucky Harris, Billy Martin, Whitey Ford, Branca and more. Terrific breakdown value here, though quite appealing as a complete volume. LOA from PSA/DNA.
