Early 1940's Baseball Autograph Book Signed by 486 Including 35 Hall of Fame Autographs. The pride and joy of an early 1940's baseball fan is presented here, a standard autograph album filled with hundreds of pencil signatures applied typically in groups of six to ten on front and back of each unlined page. No shortage of big names here, as we find legends like Ted Williams, Musial, Schoendienst, Al Simmons, Foxx, Mack, Lyons, Greenberg, Feller, Doerr, Cronin and more. At least five Ted Williams autographs are inside (each counting as one in the tally of 35 Hall of Fame signatures). Tremendous break down value here, though it would be a shame to dismantle such a charming collection. The vast majority of autographs are applied to the album pages directly, though a few dozen cut signatures are glued in as well. All autographs remain as strong as the day they were acquired. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
