    Description

Early 1930's Jack Crawford Signed Photograph to Ellsworth Vines. He came one match short of claiming tennis' Grand Slam in 1933, dropping the US Open in a five-set heartbreaker to Vines' good friend Fred Perry. Crawford is generous with his praise of young Vines in his 8/10 black fountain pen ink inscription, "To the Best Ever, From Jack Crawford." Photo (actually a trimmed real photo postcard) measures 3.25x5". Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
