    Description

Early 1930's Babe Ruth Signed Photograph. One of a kind image was snapped by a professional shutterbug at a Yankee Spring Training event, quickly developed, and then presented to the subject for his autograph. The 8x10" photo is a spectacular study of the Babe at bat, with the Yankees dugout and a couple of neighborhood kids looking on from the background. The black fountain pen inscription reads, "To my good friend Erle B. Slack, From Babe Ruth," with boldness of the ink averaging about 5/10. The photo itself is free of any creases, stains or tears and presents perfectly in its original frame. A terrific Ruth piece for the collector looking for something truly unique. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
