    Dave Niehaus Single Signed Inscription Baseball. Dave Niehaus is a true icon in MLB, and with Mariner fans in particular. We offer a Single Signed MLB Selig (World Series 2009)ball with added inscription of his Hall of Fame induction year "HOF 08, and two of his most notable catchphrases "Get out the rye bread and mustard Grandma, Its Grand Salami time. My oh my." He was the lead play-by-play announcer for the Seattle Mariners from their inaugural season in 1977 until his death Nov. 10th 2010. In 2008, the National Baseball Hall of Fame awarded Niehaus with the Ford C. Frick Award , the highest honor for American baseball broadcasters. Among fans nationwide and his peers, Niehaus was considered to be one of the finest sportscasters in the history of the game.
