    Satchel Paige Cut-Signature PSA DNA/GAI Authenticated. Offered is a cut-signature measuring from 1/2" x 2" to 3" x 4" of deceased Negro League pitcher and HOFer Satchel Paige who was inducted in 1971. Signature is a 9-10. This is a personally signed cut of Hall of Famer and Negro League Legend Satchell Paige. Besides Paige's autograph, it also bears the date "Aug 6- 42." The signature is given in pencil on blue paper stock. The signature is bold for pencil and easy to read. Paige is generally regarded as the greatest pitcher in the history of the Negro League. At one point he had completed 64 consecutive scoreless innings. He finally made it to his goal of pitching in the majors when he joined the A.L. champion Cleveland Indians in 1948. Paige died in 1982. Authenticated by PSA DNA and GAI (part of group lot). SMR Value= $125.
