    Description

Circa 2000 Baseball Record Holders Signed "Stat" Home Plate. An intriguing "theme" piece that clearly began its life as a Nolan Ryan piece, as he claims the center of the life-sized home plate with a blue sharpie signature and a host of notations recalling his seven no-hitters, his career strikeout record and more. Willie Mays provides the most writing next to Ryan, adding his "Say Hey Kid" nickname to his autograph and notations about his record 7,095 career put outs and famous World Series "Catch." Cal Ripken, Jr. simply addresses his historic consecutive games streak, while the former Home Run King Hank Aaron only signs his autograph. All blue sharpie is 9/10 or better. Add Pete Rose? Rickey Henderson? It's up to the winning bidder... Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
