Circa 1990 Mickey Mantle No. 6 Signed UDA Jersey. The most desirable Mantle jersey on the market. Though this is purported to be one of a limited edition of 1951, we find it hard to believe that the full quantity was created--we just haven't seen nearly enough on the market to justify such a figure. It's worthy of note that this is number 21 of the limited edition, therefore not contradicting our hypothesis. In any regard, the Cooperstown Collection flannel pinstriper is a dead ringer for the first shirt the Mick ever wore, with the American League Golden Anniversary patch on the sleeve and number "6" on the back. Just below that quickly discarded digit is Mantle's 10/10 black sharpie signature, which he underscores with the ultra-scarce "No. 6" notation. Original holographic sticker is affixed, with replacement Upper Deck Letter of Authenticity included. LOA from UDA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
