    Description

Circa 1982 Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris Dual-Signed Baseball. After Ruth and Gehrig, there's no more memorable duo in the pinstriped fold than the M&M boys, who captivated the world with raw power during the summer of '61. And like the Babe and Lou, baseballs bearing the autographs of Mickey and Roger can only continue to soar in value, with no limit but the sky. They appear together on this souvenir baseball commemorating the 1982 World Championship of the St. Louis Cardinals, the team with which Maris concluded his brilliant career. His blue felt tip sweet spot signature has migrated ever so slightly to create a glowing haze, while Mantle's black ink side panel signature rates 8/10. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
