    Description

Circa 1970 Thurman Munson Signed Baseball. The most gorgeous Munson single signed baseball on earth? Well, almost. Full disclosure: this ball began life as an early 1970's partial Yankees team ball, and professional restoration has removed all signatures but the future Captain's, leaving Munson's blue ballpoint offering to stand alone in its 9+/10 side panel glory. Its home is the ideal medium for the tragic catcher's autograph, an Official American League baseball from the Joe Cronin presidency. Munson is one of the toughest singles of the sixteen retired jersey numbers honored in Monument Park. Some minor foxing on the opposite side from the autograph will be invisible upon display. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
