Description

Circa 1970 Satchel Paige Single Signed Baseball. "Ain't no man can avoid being born average, but there ain't no man got to be common," the Negro League Hall of Famer once explained, and he himself was certainly anything but common. The same can be said for this "Official League" ball, blessed with a 9/10 side panel black ink signature from the greatest pitcher of his age (according to folks like Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio and Bob Feller). The ball itself remains clean and white and presents wonderfully. A top-tier example of a single that no serious baseball collection should be lacking. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
Guide Value or Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
