Circa 1970 Gil Hodges Single Signed Baseball, PSA NM+ 7.5. The installment of Chub Feeney as National League president in 1969 and Hodges' tragic early death at age forty-seven in 1972 leaves just a narrow span in which this ONL baseball may have been autographed. It's one of the finest examples we've encountered of this coveted rarity, the former Brooklyn Dodger and New York Met supplying a black ink sweet spot signature rated 8/10, and the ball itself 7/10, for the combined score as listed. Ball is housed in a PSA grading cube for protection and unquestioned authenticity. COA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
