    Description

Circa 1970 Elston Howard Single Signed Baseball. The Yankees' version of Jackie Robinson, the star catcher was the first African-American in pinstripes, and helped to bring six World Championships to the Bronx as a player and coach. His side panel inscription on the provided non-official ball, "To Tony, Best Wishes, Elston Howard," is a bona fide 10/10 in black felt tip ink. A tough find from a star Yankee who passed away much too soon at age fifty-one in 1980. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
