    Description

Circa 1960 Roberto Clemente Single Signed Baseball. He joined Honus Wagner as the only men to record a 3,000th hit in the uniform of the Pittsburgh Pirates, then perished just three months later while beginning a humanitarian flight to bring earthquake relief to the suffering citizens of Managua. Any relic from Clemente's Hall of Fame career carries added emotional weight, and this fine example of his rare single is no exception. On the sweet spot of an ONL (Giles) baseball, his distinctive script reads, "To Ronald, Best Wishes, Roberto Clemente." The black ink rates 7/10 in strength, and the ball is lightly and evenly toned. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
