Circa 1960 Lefty Grove Single Signed "Career" Baseball. One autograph collector was decades ahead of her time when she presented this ONL (Giles) ball to the Hall of Fame southpaw, asking for something a bit more than a simple sweet spot signature. What she got in satisfaction of the request is a ball that challenges for the title of most desirable Grove single on Earth, reading, "To Doria From Lefty Grove, Baltimore 1920 to 1925, Phila 1925 to 34, Boston 1934 to 41." The ball exhibits apparent game use, suggesting Grove was tracked down as a spectator at a National League contest. PSA/DNA rates the autograph a 7/10 and the ball a 3/10. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, EX 5. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
