    Description

Circa 1950 Hank Greenberg Single Signed Baseball. Before there was Jackie Robinson, it was Greenberg who endured the threats and taunts of bigotry at the ballpark, answering the anti-Semites in the same way that Robinson did the segregationists--with quiet strength and Hall of Fame ability. The hard-slugging Tiger provides an unimprovably bold black ink signature on the sweet spot of this red and blue stitched "Worth College League" ball, convincingly providing the appearance of Official spheres from Greenberg's rookie era. Horsehide is lightly and evenly toned, providing an attractive vintage aesthetic. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
