Circa 1938 George "Mule" Haas Game Bat Signed by Over 75 Including Mack, McCarthy, Ruel. Anyone who has ever tried to count the signatures on a heavily-signed bat will tell you it's all but impossible--did I count that one already?--but we're confident that seventy-five is a very conservative figure. We haven't been able to determine a theme beyond American Leaguers, and a heavy dose of Athletics would suggest the last year of Haas' career as many are too late for his first tour in Philly in the early 1930's. The signatures are applied in vintage fountain pen and survive remarkably well, averaging 8/10. We'll just dig in and start listing names: Mack, McCarthy, Wynn, Simmons, Doerr, Rick Ferrell, Newhouser, Ruel, Reynolds, Newsom, Stirnweiss, Shotton, Trout, Higgins, Dykes, Cuccinello, Newsome. The list goes on and on--definitely the most vintage autographs we've ever encountered on a single bat. Signature model Hillerich & Bradsby measures 35" in length with light to no use. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
