Circa 1934 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. An exceptional sweet spot signature from the great Bambino would make this a $50,000 baseball if the fun ended there, but his Hall of Fame buddies Gehrig, Gomez, Ruffing, Pennock and Hoyt reside nearby. Some inconsistencies in the personnel found upon this high-grade sphere makes definitive dating problematic, though a handwritten notation of "3-21-34" does bring a bit of reason to the proceedings as a Spring Training roster can deviate quite a bit from that of the regular season. Certainly the autographs were applied at some point near that time, though their home upon an OAL (Barnard) ball, last manufactured in 1931, is another mystery. Again, we expect that this was a ball that was left down in St. Petersburg at the training grounds and utilized years later. Seventeen autographs are here in total, with only Gehrig (3/10), Dixie Walker (4/10) and Ben Chapman (5/10) dipping below the standard of 8/10 or better. A chance to bring a top-quality Ruth signature on a baseball, plus several other top Yankee Hall of Famers, into your collection. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
